JUST LET IT GO AND MOVE ON
There are times in our lives when we have to depart from someone, a location, and even a pet. For me, It is by more the most difficult thing to do; because the idea of losing it forever, freaks me out. Whatever the case may be, we all have heard the same advice before, “just let it go”
If you are reading this article, it’s because you are having a hard time letting go of something or someone. I am here to tell you that it’s okay for you to go through those feelings. You will have your moments where you will miss them at random times, especially when you see a familiar place that reminds you of someone or; hear a song that reminds you of your favorite city that you miss. I am here to tell you that you can let it go!! It may not happen overnight or the next week, but eventually you will replace that feeling with something else. With what, I don’t know, that is your journey to find out.
Will you ever be normal again? I promise you, YESl!! How do I know, because I have been in this situation many times and its gets slighter as you go through it. Although, I have my moments where I get real sad for days, than after a while, I understand and accept the feeling and move on. As long as you acknowledge it and accept it, you will be fine, however that is not enough. You need to work on yourself and your goals because only then, will you feel content with letting go. If you sit there and let yourself be sad, then the darkness will eventually overcome you and coming back to the light side will be a lot harder.
Just understand that it is part of life and even though that experience you are missing has taught you a lot and shared many moment, appreciate them!! Appreciate them because those are the moments that made you who you are today. So, just let it go
