DEALING WITH FEAR HEAD ON

Hello, Everyone!!  I hope all of you are doing well and gearing up for whatever great adventure you have in store for February or for the rest of the year.

This week’s podcast is very dear to me.  So dear in fact, that it took me three attempts to get this podcast right; and guess what, I still messed up..lol  Oh well, the SHOW MUST GO ON!!!  Today we will be talking about the unexplainable truth about fear.  We all have it and if you think you don’t,  then your life is too comfortable.

I know going forward with my career, this will be a topic that I will proudly talk about till my last dying breath.  Why?  No matter where we are in our lives, we will always experience fear.  For example, I have overcome some of my scariest fears and I am currently overcoming some new ones at the moment.  Do I like dealing with fear? HECK NO!!!!  The reality is,  in order for me to achieve my goals and dreams, I need to overcome my fear as quickly as possible.

The goal for this podcast is helping you deal with your fears and help you overcome them.

Will it be easy?             NO!!!

Will it painful?                YES!!!’

Will it make you want to quit?  YES!!

Is it worth it?                 YES!!!

Are your DREAMS bigger than your FEAR?!         ABSOLUTELY!!!!

Stage 1)  WHAT IS FEAR?

  • Fear like limits is only an illusion.  We tend to make up our own fears in our own head.  

  • Stop trying to understand fear.  The more time you spend trying to figure it out, the more time you are wasting. 

  • Fear makes us feel like our lives are in danger:  Chances are, the thing you are fearing, is not life threatening. 

  • Fear will never go away:  The more we accept fear, the less power fear has over us!

Stage 2)  WHAT CAN FEAR DO TO US?

  • We can become paralyzed:  I can raise my hand for this one.  Sometimes, I just can’t move because I am too scared.  

  • We either accept fear or reject it:  Whatever we resist, it will persist.  

  • We become 2 people. A self-oppressor or a self-motivator:  Self oppressors talk bad about your self-image and the self-motivator help you in times of need.

  • We feel like our lives are in danger due to fear:  Chances are, your fear will not kill you.  If you overcome it, it will make you stronger.

Stage 3)  HOW TO DEAL WITH FEAR HEAD ON.

  • We Accept Fear:  You either face it and overcome it or ignore fear and it will haunt you forever.

  • Be a self-motivator:  Talk to yourself and encourage yourself to conquer the world.

  • Decide to conquer your fears or decide not too.  Just decide:  You will lose sleep if you can not make up your mind.  Do or do not

  • What is the worst case scenario if you attacked your fears head on?  Seriously!! The only bad thing that will happen is that you became stronger overnight.

  • Do you want to know what is worst than fear?  Regret!!

 

  •  Don’t take your fears for granted because whether you realize it or not, it will control your life subconsciously
