“There is nothing more common than unsuccessful talented people in this world”
Demarco is originally from Honduras and migrated to the United States in 1986 with his parents to care for his diagnosis from birth, Toxoplasmosis. This disease can deter a retina from fully developing, and there is still a chance for the retina to deteriorate more over time. About 23% of Americans are affected by this bacterial disease, and more people are affected in developing countries like Honduras.
Demarco still enjoys watching his favorite childhood shows like The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and He-Man. He also enjoys helping others with low visions, like himself, to battle life’s villains one pizza box, and blog entry at a time. Low Vision Guy is here to help motivate and align with others who experience the same obstacles that come with having accessibility needs.
Low Vision Guy honors equality, candor, and just taking risks. Whether you are skimming through or digesting the content, Demarco wants you to feel more happy and positive about yourself.
